Edgewater Every time I look at this little white dog, I feel my heart swell with pride. This past January, Harry turned five years old and, like a fine wine, he just keeps getting better with age! So, it was with much agonizing that the decision was made to let Harry go to Melissa Rega and Chris Hayden in Kentucky. Fantastic narrow front, well laid back shoulder, beautiful head and that elegant neck! His keen hunting ability is outstanding. Then, there is that magnificent small, squishy chest… allowing him to get into the smallest of holes. Yes, he is a fantastic worker and I have always found him to tell the truth as to whether or not a den is occupied. He is a pleasure in the field possessing what I like to call “the smart gene” when facing quarry I have watched him handle two very large raccoons simultaneously and emerge with barely a scratch. Aside from hunting, Harry has proved he is a multi-faceted guy! With wins in confirmation, racing, go-to-ground and lure coursing, he has proven himself an all around terrier. Once again, Harry has had a rather busy year as far as girls are concerned.......he's been bred to a wide variety of bitches, and has still been able to consistently produce his size and type with just about all of them. His puppies pretty much all have his beautiful front end, and I've yet to find one with anything but the tiniest of chests! He is an extremely effective downsizer no matter what's behind the bitch for size. In some cases, they also get his "profuse" coat, but hey, no one is perfect! His progeny continue to do well in the ring and we congratulate them on their success. Harry is, now, co-owned by Melissa Rega of Trademark and Chris Hayden of Foxglade. "Harry" is standing to approved bitches. Negative Brucellosis, BAER and CERF required. Along with the physical qualities that Harry passes on to his get, it is becoming apparent that he also passes along his working drive.
